Submitted through this form, with no name and no contact details; the sender describes themselves as a current Normandale employee. The form was submitted from a connection in Minnesota. Hey dude, since this is the only way to connect with you regarding this site, I thought you should know that Normandale has reworked the entire application processing, identity verifying, and orientation completing part of the student admission process since the fall of 2024. I currently work at Normandale and it’s a pain in the ass these days to get a registration hold lifted so that you can register for credits to take out financial aid. Maybe do some research regarding the actual recent response of the institution to the problem of fraudulent applications before adding to your bashing fest on here. Also our admissions staff manually process all student applications, but go off, queen.

The point of this website is to demonstrate how easy it is to commit this kind of fraud. I made this site in a couple of hours. If I can do that, what can a dedicated fraudster do? See the actual attacks happening right now — live traffic against this domain as you read this. This isn't fake.
The officials are on the record, and they say otherwise. On Aug. 24, 2026 — the day before this message — Normandale's vice president of Student Affairs told KSTP 5 Investigates that the college has "processed" about 29,000 fraudulent or potentially fraudulent applications and that about 31% of applications are still being flagged. Minnesota State's chief information security officer said attackers have changed tactics "several times" and that the automated identity-verification system the Legislature funded with $3 million could name a pilot vendor "in the coming weeks" — not yet in place. Minnesota State flagged 2,696 fraudulent or potentially fraudulent aid applications in 2025–26. Every quotation is verbatim on the timeline. The problem is still occurring. The college says so.
"Reworked … since the fall of 2024." The application in this case was submitted on Nov. 5, 2024 — during fall 2024. Placement testing on the fabricated record was completed on Nov. 25, 2024 at about 2:54 AM from a datacenter-range origin. A federal loan was originated in my name on Jan. 27, 2025. On May 22, 2025, after one term at a 0.0 GPA, the college mailed that record a letter saying "We believe you can do this, and we are here to help you succeed." Every date is documented on the timeline. Whatever was reworked, this application went through it.
"Our admissions staff manually process all student applications." Manual processing is not identity verification. The record shows what was accepted: a casing anomaly in the surname, an email one keystroke from mine, an address in a city I have never lived in, a false foster-care claim, and a transfer from a college that closed in 2014. Nobody checked whether the person existed. Five minutes of human review per application, at the college's own volume, costs about one full-time person — worked out on why this site exists.
"A pain in the ass these days to get a registration hold lifted." That is the cost of the fraud landing on real students, and it is consistent with the college's on-record statement of "extra staff, technology and training." It is not evidence about what happened to this application in 2024–25, and it does not change a single date above.
"Maybe do some research." The research is the record. I asked the institution directly, in writing, on May 8, 2026 for a root-cause analysis of how this application was accepted. As of this reply, none has been provided. This message is the first description of any rework to reach me from anyone at the college, and it arrived anonymously. If the college — or the sender — will provide the dates and documents, this site will publish them verbatim, as it publishes everything else.
What I am doing next
I am still pursuing further measures to get rid of this fraud — with the reporter covering this case, and through the records and root-cause requests documented on the timeline. This record is public because the money is public: federal student aid, disbursed by a state institution, in my name. I have every right to state facts about it, and I will keep doing so. Corrections are welcome and are published verbatim, as above. Abuse is not a correction. A submission that insults rather than corrects will be published just the same, and it will be read for what it says about why the sender is involving themselves. Anonymity on this form is a courtesy this site extends to people bringing facts; it is not a shield for harassment. This site records request data on every visit, harassing submissions are retained, and where the law provides for it they may be shared with the journalist covering this case and with the authorities.
